RICH EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Students¡¯spare time

The students of this school have a colourful life in their spare time. There are many types of organisations and activities available to students. Such activities have been designed to train and develop their abilities and skills required for social intercourse when they enter the society in the future.

The activities include the school-run newspaper named ¡°Eagle¡±, the school radio & TV broadcasting station, literature groups, reading clubs, and choir. There are other activities such as a theatrical festival for New Year, the Flea Market on Sunday, fashion parades, and a student competition involving the decoration and preparation of fruit. Participating in these activities helps students develop their individual characteristics and self-expression. Sometimes outings to the country are organized for students, and in the summer some students will go to participate in military training in PLA¡¯s barracks. During the holidays, some students will go to work with their parents in order to experience their parents¡¯ way of life. All these opportunities for participation encourage students to enlarge their vision of life.
